HOW TO DOWNLOAD & INSTALL FORZA HORIZON 3

IMPORTANT: Forza Horizon 3 only works on Windows 10. Turn on 'Developer Mode' settings on Windows 10 before installing Forza Horizon 3 as shown in the video tutorial below. Tip: Watch the video tutorial below for help with the installation!

1. Click the Download button or the logo below and you will be redirected to MEGA.
   If you prefer a Torrent download instead, then click on the Torrent download button.

2. Click Download through your web browser or Download with MEGASync to start the download. For downloading through web, you should use the Chrome browser and the MEGA extension, which you can get here.

3. Once Forza Horizon 3 is done downloading, you have to extract the file. To do this you will need the free program called WinRAR, which you can get here. Now right click the .zip file and click on 'Extract to Forza Horizon 3'.

4. Double click on the Forza Horizon 3 folder and run the setup application.

5. Follow through this installation and let the game install. This installation may take a while so please just be patient.

6. Once completed, a command box will pop up as shown in the video tutorial below. Make sure to type 3 then hit enter and Y and then hit enter again. Do NOT close the command prompt. Launch the game as administrator as it helps prevents crashes and errors with the game and sign in to a dummy Microsoft account.

Forza Horizon Online Play Demo

Update November 4, 2016: Microsoft said there wouldn’t be a Forza Horizon 3 demo until after launch, and they weren’t joking. The demo is live now, over a month after the racer’s release.

The Forza Horizon 3 PC demo went live on Windows Store today, so give it a download if you want to sample its Autralian roads, fields and dirt tracks.

For now, play our list of the best racing games instead.

Forza Horizon 3 Free Download

The demo features a portion of the full game’s open-world map, leading you through a series of taster events that introduce you to the various activities and driving styles available. There’s also an online, free-roam mode for when you’ve finsihed the events.

On Xbox One, the demo put players behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Cenenario, a BMW M4, the Ford Shelby GT350R, dune buggies, a trophy truck, and the HSV Limited Edition GEN-F GTS Maloo.

Original Story September 13, 2016: Xbox One players have been enjoying the open-world racing antics of Forza Horizon 3’s demo all day, and the word on the rubber-streaked streets is that it’s damn good. PC players have been asking when the demo is expected to land, but they might not like the answer.

For us, the demo won’t be landing until after launch. Considering reception has been so positive, this decision could well eat into potential pre-orders, but I suppose Microsoft must have their reasons. Maybe the PC build just isn’t ready for demoing yet.

A Microsoft representative told GameSpot a demo for the racer will be available on PC after launch on September 27, but a specific date was not provided.

“A standalone Forza Horizon 3 PC demo will be released sometime after launch,” the spokesperson said. “We invite all players who are eager to play Forza on PC to try Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, available now in the Windows 10 Store for free.”

That free-to-play Forza is now a fully functioning game, with steering wheel support and everything, but it’s probably not what players want to hear. Though they’re both racers, there are huge differences between the two games.
