I've been trying to install the latest update for Evolve, but every time I get this message, 'There is not enough free space in system storage to download the content. To download the content, you must free up at least 134.3 MB more space.'
The PlayStation 4 boasts a massive 500GB internal hard drive, but how much of it can you actually access? After tinkering with it, it turns out most of the space is available for games or apps. The same problems would arise on other systems not just the PS4 you need double the free space available to download a game or update file.Problem with update files most will reserve the total file size of the entire game x2 even if the update is a only few GB. It’s only Sony and PlayStation 4. PlayStation 3 did not have this problem. Jan 17, 2017 - Seems like this happens a lot with PS4 games but I'm not deleting a full game just to get this update it just doesn't make sense. If I have 50GB free space on my PS4 then how can it not download? Ok and wow the update is just under 3 gb. Good job PlayStation for not letting me download it when I.
I've deleted a few GB, since I first saw the message, and it still says that I need at least 134.3 MB removed. Also, before the message it will say that it's preparing to install, load to 7, or 10%, and fail.
Playstation 4 Cant Download Game But Have Spaces
Playstation 4 Cant Download Game But Have Space On Computer
I have over 40 GB of free space. I've restarted, and shutdown my PS4. I've deleted more than enough saved data.
Any ideas of what will solve this problem?
