Downloading Ebooks To Kindle Paper…
Kindle Paperwhite is a great ebook reader and the most noteworthy feature of this device is the backlit e-ink display. Usually, using a Kindle device means that you can only read books bought from.
I have a few dozen Nook Books I bought a few years back when I had a Nook. I no longer have the Nook & have a Paperwhite. I'd like to get these Nook Books onto my Kindle. Now I know B&N has stopped allowing books to be downloaded, but from what I gather there is a workaround.
I've downloaded Nook for PC and my books are there. A download button is an option too. I click it and it looks like it's downloading, but it's super fast. I then go to my documents folder and there is a folder titled 'My Barnes & Noble ebooks'. The book I attempted to download is there but it's only 281kb, which isn't big enough. The type of file is called Free Editor Association. No idea what this is, but it's definitely not the book.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Ok, so how does it work? Do I need to convert them? Can they be .txt/word files or do they need to be a specific format? Do I need to jailbreak my kindle before that? Can Amazon detect this and turn my ereader into a useless brick? I really have no idea and no experience with ereaders, so please, I need a full explanation. Also, before you start hating on me for pirating books, I'm a college student and can't really afford to buy all my books, I was used to getting them from my local library. Actually, I'm even having a bit of a hard time saving the money to get a decent reader. Please understand.
